ABOUT US : How to Join FBC

Any person that has publicly confessed Jesus as Savior and Lord may offer themselves as a candidate for membership in First Baptist Church. There are three different ways of uniting with our congregation:

1. Baptism – Any who make a public profession of faith in Christ Jesus through baptism at First Baptist Church will be accepted into membership.

2. Transfer of Letter – A candidate will be accepted into membership of First Baptist by the transfer of membership letter from a sister church of same faith and order.

3. By Statement – An applicant may be accepted by statement if a membership cannot be presented due to unusual circumstances.

First Baptist also hosts classes for new believers in order to equip them with the knowledge of our new-found faith in Christ and what it means to be a Christ-follower and member of a Baptist church.
