At First Baptist, our children are some of the most precious gifts that God can give us. Here are some of the ministries that we offer for them and their families.
SUNDAY SCHOOL (Sundays, 9:45 a.m.)
Bring your children to Sunday school, the best hour of a child’s week!
Classes are available for all ages. We are waiting to welcome your child with open arms!
Our Sunday School hour runs from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m.
No week is complete without it!
KIDS’ PRAISE! (Sundays, 11:00 a.m.)
Have you asked yourself what your children will do while the adults are in worship? Well, wonder no more! After all generations gather in the sanctuary for the start of worship, the children are dismissed to the fellowship hall for KIDS’ PRAISE! following a special children’s message. All children through grade 5 will spend time worshiping God through music, prayer, and activities geared specifically for them. What a treat! Our souls and our tummies get filled every week!

KINGDOM KIDS/AWANA (Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m.)
KINGDOM KIDS is a multi-cultural children’s ministry that meets regularly on Wednesday evenings. The evening starts with activities at 6:30 p.m. in graded classrooms for children ages 3 through grade 5. Kids get to enjoy snacks, games/crafts, singing, and a Bible lesson that is taught in a large group setting before dismissing at 7:45 p.m. in anticipation of the following week. AWANA offers children the opportunity to learn more about the great stories of the Bible and challenges kids to memorize scripture verses for prizes and a year-end reward.
Special activities are also planned throughout the year, such as our tail-busting, annual skating party, a big fall festival, and more!
