Men’s Ministry

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Col. 3:23, 24

The Band of Brothers is a service-oriented fellowship for men of all ages. The group is active in the maintenance of our church facility, supporting our seniors with small household repairs and transportation as needed. They also play an important part in the delivery of meals for the “Bread of Life” ministry.

Women on Mission

The Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) has long been an important ministry that First Baptist has offered to the community and world. The group, which meets on the second Tuesday of every month with a sack lunch, is involved with various mission projects throughout the year.

Women’s Ministry

Starting January 10th at 6:00 pm, our Ladies will begin an 8-week Bible study based on Dr. David Jeremiah’s book, OVERCOMER. All ladies are encouraged to attend to learn Ways to live a life of “Unstoppable Strength, Unmovable Faith, and Unbelievable Power!”

In Overcomer, Dr. Jeremiah will teach you how to suit up for victory! You’ve heard it before from the book of Ephesians. The wonderful metaphor—the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, the shoes of peace—the Armor of God. But what if there’s more to it than just a metaphor?

God has given you eight strategies for putting on your armor—for being prepared in the fight against the evil one and for OVERCOMING in His name. For more information or to sign up, please contact Patti Holderfield.

REFIT Exercise

A FUN WAY to Exercise to Music!!
Mondays at 8:30 AM

Change your body. Change your mind. Change your life. Workout and have fun! Christian Music! First class is FREE — then $3 a class or $10 for a month. Both men & women are welcome! There is always some “heart work” at the end which is a short devotion and prayer! We will meet upstairs in the Pilates Room (#264).

We believe the heart is more than a muscle. That a person is more than a body. That relationships are as important as results. We believe fitness isn’t for the fit … it’s for the willing.
